Remarkable wine. Pale rust colour. Wonderful nose of tertiary notes: wood, leather, tobacco. Fully tertiary but still holding notes of fruit sweetness. A bit lighter on the body than the '52 Marchesi di Barolo. This is what a 72 year old wine should taste like. Wine of the night for some.
