Château Cadet Piola
The vineyard of Château Cadet-Piola was established in the mid-18th century. Today, it comprises 7 hectares of vines, consisting of 51% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Pressac. The vines are approximately 35 years old and are rooted in clay-limestone soil. The grapes are harvested by hand, and sorting is done directly on the vine during harvest. The wines are then aged in barrels before bottling. The average production is 32,000 bottles per year. At Château Cadet-Piola, the importance of terroir is emphasized. It must fully express itself and reveal the authenticity of its origins. The wines are balanced, with the wood not masking the wine's freshness and complexity.
