Château La Pointe

Château La Pointe is a wine estate in the Bordeaux region. The château produces wines under the Pomerol appellation. The grape varieties consist of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%), with an average vine age of 35 years. The name La Pointe comes from the geometry of the vineyard, which is located near Libourne, in the western part of the Pomerol appellation.

Regarding the wines, Château La Pointe expresses notes of black fruits (cherry, blackberry), spices and toasted bread on the nose. The palate offers elegant and refined tannins, with finesse and persistence. The ample finish shows a good ageing potential. We recommend the Château La Pointe 2006 and the Château La Pointe 2010.
