Château Belgrave is a Bordeaux wine estate located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc in the Gironde. It produces wines in the Haut-Médoc AOC that are classified as fifth growth in the official 1855 Bordeaux wine classification. Across its 60 hectares of vines, the Château Belgrave boasts a remarkable diversity of soils. The two outcrops consist of gravel and pebbles deposited by the Garonne thousands of years ago, resting on a clay subsoil. These soils have the particularity of promoting the maturity of later-ripening grape varieties such as Cabernets (50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc) and Petit-Verdot (3%).

For tasting or gifting, we recommend the Château Belgrave 1980, the Belgrave 1989 as well as the Château Belgrave 1990. Finally, the Château Belgrave 1996 and the Château Belgrave 2000 are of very good quality.
