Our opinion on the 1907 vintage: a vintage with character. 1907 is a very satisfactory vintage in Bordeaux. The harvest took place in good conditions. Unfortunately, the wines were not built to age, seductive and promising at the time, they have not kept their power. Very few have had the chance to taste them recently. As for the sweet white wines of Sauternes, they suffered from heavy rains during the harvest, which affected the quality of the wines. In Burgundy, the quality of the wines equals the previous vintage (1906). Nevertheless, the wines of the 1907 vintage will remain in the shadow and become rarer due to the success of the 1906 vintage wines.
