The wine of Château Fourcas Dupré is characterised by a dark robe with ruby hues, its personality developing on a balanced and smooth ensemble. With time, the mellowness and elegance of its tannins give it a remarkable harmony. The wines of Château Fourcas Dupré are produced from a blend of 4 highly complementary grape varieties. The grape composition is as follows: 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The planting density is 8,500 vines per hectare. The average age of the vines is over 25 years.
