Tends to a brick-red color, relatively opaque, scent of earthen cellar and leather, ok wine, but a bit flat taste, little tannins, a lot of pencil point

Dark red colour. Good intensity. Lively. Nose of medium intensity. Discreet. Fresh. Fruity. Animal. Clean and soft attack developing on a fairly voluminous form. The mid-palate offers taste and the wine finishes quite caressing in the mouth, then on a firmer and longer tannin. It could have a little more richness. Beautiful persistence. It needs to be waited for. For a Saint-Pierre, it is quite austere in its tannin.
