Jean-Marc Quarin February - 2008
Jean-Marc Quarin
The color is beautiful and still young. Undecanted wine is more intense and fruitier than decanted. When comparing the two, the mouth appears more velvety and richer in taste and complexity when the wine is not decanted. It then ends with simple tannins. Decanted, the wine takes on a little more presence in the middle, while retaining its very pleasant final note. Ultimately, these two wines are close decanted as well as non-decanted. They have a nice smoky taste in the persistence.

Aromas of blackberry and licorice follow through to full-bodied palate, with round tannins and a fruity finish. Lovely wine. Jammy and enjoyable. Slightly hollow midpalate.

Château Château la Fleur De Gay
Château la Fleur De Gay
Château La Fleur de Gay whose Cru was created in 1982 by Noel Raynaud from 3 hectares of La Croix de Gay. The plot is close to old Merlot Lafleur and Petrus at the top of the plateau of Pomerol. Chantal Lebreton took over his father's Christmas Raynaud, disappeared after the harvest 97. Supported by her mother and brother, Dr. Alain Raynaud (Chateau Quinault), it continues a long family tradition inherited from the fifteenth century. The Chateau La Fleur de Gay wine raises its 100% interest in the new wood. Wine of the highest level typical charming and expressive Merlot. Its natural concentration promotes long aging.
