Château informations
The vineyard of Château Verdignan spans 60 hectares of beautiful gravelly soil located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, a neighbouring commune to Saint-Estèphe in the canton of Pauillac. Within the HAUT-MEDOC appellation, Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne benefits the most from the influence of the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Château Verdignan's terroir is planted with 65% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet-Franc and 30% Merlot. The average age of Château Verdignan's vines is about 30 years. From vine cultivation to wine ageing, through the seasons, we work with respect for tradition and the environment without rejecting modernism. Château Verdignan's objective is to optimise the quality of our grapes in order to harvest very healthy grapes at full maturity.
