Jancis Robinson is a British world wine critic, journalist and writer. She began her career in 1975 when she became editor of “Wine and Spirits” magazine. Jancis studied wine and in 1984 she became the first person not involved in the wine trade to obtain a Master Of Wine.

The expert also writes for her own website Jancis.Robinson.com and is the official advisor to Queen Elizabeth II’s cellar.

The oenologist stands out in particular for his preference for quality and complexity rather than power and concentration.
