Jancis Robinson December - 2011
Jancis Robinson
Just one cask in this case. Firm crimson. Rather light nose. Lots of fruit upfront and then a little rigid. Very firm on the finish needs a bit of time. Strict backbone.

Starts out tight, with currant, kirsch, spice and earth flavours. Rounds out with a few hours of aeration, offering black cherry and tobacco notes. Balanced, displaying a firm finish for now.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
The 2010 Morey St. Denis Clos de la Bussiere is an explosive wine. Dark red cherries, freshly cut flowers, graphite and mint all take shape in the glass. The Clos de la Bussiere stands out for its energy, focus and length. Persistent saline notes add freshness. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2035.

Domaine Georges Roumier
Domaine Georges Roumier

Domaine Roumier is an estate that produces Burgundy wines. Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, then taken over in the early 1980s by Christophe Roumier who had joined his father Jean Marie Roumier. Located in the commune of Chambolle Musigny, the estate spans nearly 12 hectares of vineyards.

The harvest is traditionally done by hand and the grape varieties produced are Pinot Noir for red wines and Chardonnay for white wines. Domaine Roumier is not certified organic and does not seek the label, however, they do not use any chemical products in their vineyards.

The limestone and clay-limestone soils enhance and characterize the estate's terroir. Domaine Roumier produces five Burgundy Grand Crus: Bonnes Mares, Musigny, Charmes Chambertin, Ruchottes Chambertin and Corton Charlemagne in white wine.

The star wine of Domaine Roumier is the Musigny Grand Cru. A wine with growing reputation from the Côte de Nuits.
