Moët et Chandon
Moët et Chandon
In 1446, Jean and Nicolas Moët were ennobled by King Charles VII. This marked the beginning of a lineage that would later give its name to the most beautiful saga in champagne history. Claude Moët, a descendant of the Moët brothers and wine merchant in Epernay since the early 18th century, founded Moët House in 1743. His grandson Jean Rémy Moët, a pioneering and visionary spirit, would transform this trading company into the first international luxury brand, which for more than two and a half centuries has embodied and shared the genius of champagne with the entire world. Since 1743, Moët & Chandon has been producing the world's most appreciated champagne wines. The quality of its wines expresses all the richness and diversity of its fabulous vineyard, the largest and most prestigious estate in Champagne, consisting mainly of Premier and Grand Crus. Moët & Chandon wines of happiness with a seductive and generous personality, distinguished by their bright fruitiness, flavourful substance, and elegant maturity. True to Jean-Rémy's ambition, who believed more than anyone in the seductive power and magic of champagne, Moët & Chandon is more than ever today a symbol of pleasure, splendour, and fabulous celebrations.
