Château Lynch-Bages is one of the great names of the Pauillac appellation, classified as a Fifth Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Located on the historic plateau of Bages, in the heart of the Médoc, this wine has embodied for several generations the controlled power and qualitative consistency that make the reputation of the great wines of Bordeaux.

The history of Château Lynch-Bages begins in the 18th century with the Lynch family, of Irish origin, before the property was taken over in the 20th century by the Cazes family. Since its acquisition by Jean-Charles Cazes in 1939, then under the impetus of Jean-Michel Cazes and today of Jean-Charles Cazes, the estate has continuously strengthened its identity and international renown. This family continuity constitutes a central element of Château Lynch-Bages's singularity.

The vineyard rests on deep, ideally drained Garonne gravel, an emblematic terroir of Pauillac, particularly favourable to Cabernet Sauvignon, the predominant grape variety in the blend. It gives birth to structured, distinguished wines built for ageing, combining aromatic intensity, tannic straightness and precision.

Vintages such as Château Lynch-Bages 1982, Château Lynch-Bages 1995, Château Lynch-Bages 2000, Château Lynch-Bages 1989, Château Lynch-Bages 2009 or Château Lynch-Bages 2010 illustrate the remarkable consistency of the cru and its essential status among the collectable wines of Pauillac.
