Pale golden yellow; fine mousse. Delicate yeast aromas underpin ripe yellow tropical fruits, a hint of caramel, tobacco nuances, floral notes, a touch of cherry and honey. Juicy, silky, elegant texture, creamy yet powerful body, beautiful stone fruit, full of finesse, richly structured with a long-lasting finish and fine nougat aftertaste. The 2006 Brut Cuvée Nicolas François is showing superbly, bursting with aromas of warm bread, citrus oil, wild berries, smoke and gingerbread. On the palate, it's full-bodied, broad and voluminous, with a concentrated and fleshy core, chalky dry extract and lively acids despite the vintage, concluding with a saline finish.

Named after the founder of the house, Nicolas François Billecart (who married Elisabeth Salmon), this wine is now at its peak. It is poised between fresh apple fruits and broader, riper maturity. This balance gives a ripe wine hinting at toast and almonds whilst still with a dry aftertaste.

Created in 1964 as a tribute to the founder of the House, this cuvée combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A honey yellow with satiny, grilled, roasted fragrances and a benevolent, protective oxidative patina. The lightly roasted blond fruit is enveloped in a luxurious setting. The palate is equally enveloping, with rare unctuousness, evocations of a cream with praline flavours, forest honey and graceful salt. Porcini and chanterelle mushrooms mark the finish.
