Falstaff August - 2020
Falstaff
Dark ruby, violet tints, delicate bright ochre rim. Inviting nuances of bourbon vanilla, blueberries and liquorice, some nougat, black forest berries underneath, immensely complex bouquet. Substantial, fine fruit expression, ripe blueberries, perfectly ripened tannins, always balanced and fresh despite all power, has very good length and minerality on the finish, should best be left untouched for the next ten years. Even if it is difficult.

Robert PARKER - The Wine Advocate
Bottled in January, the 2016 Coteaux du Languedoc looks even better than it did as a barrel sample. It's a huge, full-bodied, rich wine of absolutely mammoth proportions, yet it remains fresh and vibrant. Grace notes of vanilla and chocolate accent concentrated blueberries and blackberries on the creamy-textured palate and linger through the long, supple finish. It should be released in July 2019.

Jancis Robinson April - 2019

Still lots of oak here. Not nearly ready. Sweet, dark ripe fruit laced with almond essence and cherry liqueur and coconut. Throat-warming heat, a touch of cardamom. deep-pile velvet. And then a line of black-olive-tapenade bitterness. Massively impressive but you'd struggle to get through more than a small glass.
