Dark purple velvety look. Rather simple ripe red fruits on the nose but on the palate it is clear that there is very competent oaking and a nice fresh mouthful. Certainly perfectly respectable glass of claret. Appetising, dry finish and nothing overdone. Complete.

Still young, with its dry tannins, this is a wine that has developed depth and concentration over the last 3-4 years. It has power, the berry fruits driving through the structure to give a layered, attractive, serious finish.

Vigorous ruby garnet, violet rim brightening, fine wood spice on the nose, intense soft fruit, fine spice, delicate ethereal hints. On the palate stoffig, mineral texture, dark berry fruit, supporting tannins, remains well adherent, good development potential. Wine typical of the appellation, versatile.
