Information on the vintage 1950 Saint Emilion :
The two most successful vintages were Saint Emilion and Pomerol. The former produced a number of rich wines, full and intense that evolved rapidly.

Abundant, th crop nearly double that of 1949, but of uneven quality and imported by the British wine trade as useful.
