Domaine des Comtes Lafon

Domaine des Comtes Lafon is an estate that produces Burgundy wines. It encompasses 13.8 hectares of some of the region's most renowned growths, planted with Chardonnay in the villages of Meursault, Puligny and Montrachet, and Pinot Noir in the villages of Volnay and Monthélie.

One of the greatest among the greats. Dominique Lafon implements everything possible to produce the finest white wines. Biodynamic farming, meticulous aging, from Meursault to Montrachet, the range is impressively consistent in quality. You'll love the white wines, but don't forget the perfectly mastered Volnay Santenots du Milieu.

Domaine des Comtes Lafon is the most universally admired estate in the world for Volnay and Meursault appellations. The vineyard heritage is unique, with ideal locations for each lieu-dit, and for the main red plot, Santenots du Milieu, a large enough area to allow rigorous grape selection and vinification with sufficient mass for optimal extraction control. The white wines have a unique sumptuous body and flavor, and the reds have an optimal balance between power and finesse.
