Wine Spectator January - 1

Fresh and pure, but not shy on depth, offering an ample core of cassis and blackberry purée flavors. There's a fine chalky minerality throughout, but overall the structure is polished. Anise and spice notes add range.

Jeannie Cho Lee March - 2015

A round, supple red with velvety tannins with plum and dark cherry. The wine is balanced, fresh and lively and will be approachable even in its youth, but the dense tannins mean it will benefit from at least 5 to 6 years of bottle age.

Nice wine after opening the bottle. No longer a lot of fruit, but the typical Pauillac notes of graphite and tobacco box, in combination with some loamy and forest floor motes. Tannins and acid getting threw, more unpleasantly the second and third day which suggests a more dumb phase of that wine.

Dark garnet. Invitingly pure black fruit, still so vibrant and primary. Firmly tannic, structured, powerful but with everything in place for the future still.
