Cellar Tracker December - 2022

Typical Bordeaux nose with plenty of blueberries, cassis, cigar box and sous-bois. The fruit is still here and shining, very precise and compact. Everything is on spot. On the palate smooth and sexy. Fresh and elegant. The fruit and the acidity are rocking the palate, accoümpagnied by some tertiary aromas such as tobacco and pencil lead. Tannins still there but very soft.

Fully mature, elegant in style, medium bodied, and slightly more focused on the perfume, with its blend of tobacco, cigar box, cherries, flowers and herbs. The strong floral and herb character comes from the large amount of Cabernet Franc in the blend. There is some dryness in the finish, but the nose is so pretty and ripe has ripeness, I gloss over that. But that issue will increase with more cellaring as the fruit fades. There is no reason to age this wine any longer. The wine was produced from blending 47.6% Merlot , 35.4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Cabernet Franc.

Aromas of blackberry and hints of licorice and light wood. Full-bodied, with juicy tannins and cedar, plum and coffee aftertaste. Give this time.

Beautiful dark red nuances. Very slight change. Normal intensity. Intense, fine and noted for its original note of sandalwood. Fruity. This wine is quite elegant in its texture, which has a regrettable lack of depth in the final. Consistency is normal. Will still keep a good ten years in the bottle.

Dark crimson with minerals, intrigue and some lusciousness on the nose. Lots of sweetness and appeal. Very round and appealing – seems as though it has quite a bit of Merlot in the blend.
