A deeply impressing wine served from a magnum which was preserved under pristine conditions. Brick red colour. Excellent and very fine nose with aroma reminsicent of roasted chestnuts, hints of prunes and pipe tabacco, traces of berry jam, prunes and dried figs in the background. On the palate perfect balance, velvety character with fine acidity, elegant sweetness and deeply impressing, non finishing aftertaste. A great wine extremely close to perfection!

Beychevelle
Beychevelle
Chateau Beychevelle  is a classic Saint-Julien exemplified in its roundness, richness of flavor, and power. The harmony of the greatest classic Medoc, which deserves to be more than fourth grand cru classé. Beychevelle also has a second wine called Amiral de Beychevelle. Beychevelle also has another Saint Julien with the pretty name of Le Château Moulin de la Rose (Estate Mill of the Rose). Chateau Beychevelle one of the purest gems of seventeenth century Medoc, but it is equalled by the exceptional quality of its wine. At full maturity after at least 10 years, the wine of Chateau Beychevelle is smooth, supple, balanced and exceptionally pleasant, in a word: classic, like the architecture and gardens of the castle.
