Intense and lively colour. Beautiful bright red. Clean and intense nose, fine, delicate, combining raspberry, vanilla and fine oak. Good. On swirling, intense, clean, very fruity. Notes of plum and raspberry. Supple, clean attack, evoking finesse, marked by fresh fruit. Very balanced evolution on a straight, elegant structure, of good concentration, which finishes on a fine tannin. Very elegant and well-made wine. Freshness and brightness, no alcohol. A ripe and fine St Julien.

This wine has evolved nicely, showing a classic Bordeaux nose of fruitcake, cedar, liquorice, tobacco, and blackcurrants. Medium-bodied with moderate tannin yet excellent concentration, this wine should continue to develop and last where well-stored.
