Falstaff August - 2020
Falstaff
Dark ruby, violet reflections, delicate light ochre rim. Inviting nuances of bourbon vanilla, blueberries and liquorice, some nougat, underlaid with black forest berries, immensely complex bouquet. Substantial, fine fruit sweetness, ripe blueberries, perfectly matured tannin, always balanced and fresh despite all its power, has very good length and minerality on the finish, should ideally be left untouched for the next ten years.
