Château Domaine Bonneau du Martray
Domaine Bonneau du Martray
A family-owned property for nearly two centuries, the Bonneau du Martray vineyard is located on the hill of Corton, at the heart of the original Corton-Charlemagne appellation area. It constitutes the largest entity and encompasses the famous hillside sector already renowned in the Carolingian era. Thus, the estate dedicates itself exclusively to the production of two Grand Crus: Corton-Charlemagne, which is its flagship wine Corton, a red interpretation of the same location Its production, derived from old vines with meticulously selected plants and controlled yields, is the result of constant work, the quality of which is recognised by the greatest critics and connoisseurs. The care and constant attention given to both the vineyard and the cellar have earned it a worldwide reputation and a presence on the finest tables. Its wines are suitable for long-term ageing. This is why the Bonneau du Martray estate has the particularity of offering discerning gourmets "ready-to-drink" vintages. It thus allows them to access wines close to their peak without having to wait. The estate dedicates itself as intensely as possible to its role as a producer. As such, it regrets that it cannot welcome individuals for visits and tastings. However, direct sales remain possible for French residents.
