Ruby colour, still nice and clean around the edges. Subdued nose that never gets really complex. Hints of liquorice, herbs and raspberry. Opening into more general red fruits. Tertiary aromas of bacon and after-dinner mints. Slightly astringent then sweet tannins and acidity. Medium length and a nice confit fruit finish. A nice but not spectacular wine.
