Two top wines couldn't be more different. Only the complex aroma of the Jacquesson is remotely reminiscent of the Bollinger, even if the fruit notes (citrus and exotic fruits, but also a hint of ripe gooseberry) dominate here. But where Bollinger offers heavenly harmony, the Jacquesson is bursting with wine and juice. With an alert breed (this is an Extra Brut, i.e. an undosed wine), incredible life, unique energy... What will something like this taste like in ten years?
