 Birth of a passionExceptional vintages, ready to drink....jpg) It all started in Burgundy, during a weekend of wine tasting with friends.As I was paying for some wine I'd selected from a famous winemaker, he told me “Just wait, in ten years you're going to have the wine experience of a lifetime.” Imagine: I was barely 40 at the time and the prospect of waiting another decade to enjoy what I had bought seemed like an eternity! To wait 10, 20, even 30 years just to taste my discoveries ? Wait until I'm 100 years old to drink my most valuable “grands crus” ? For me, impossible! From then on, I began to look for wines that had already matured so that I could have the pleasure of tasting them reasonably soon after they reached my cellar. With financial and moral backing from a group of friends I began to travel frequently, in search of exceptional winemakers and “mythical” bottles of wine. This is how the “SoDivin” concept was born. Today I share my passion with others so that the treasures that lay waiting to be discovered in our cellar can find their way into the hands of those who equally appreciate the richness within the bottles. |
