The Chateau Gruaud-Larose is a vineyard located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in Gironde. AOC Saint-Julien, it ranked second in the Grand Cru classification of 1855.
The vineyards of Chateau Gruaud-Larose has a vine up to 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. . The wine spends 16-18 months in oak barrels in fresh medium at 35%. . Vintages that have remained outstanding as at Gruaud-Larose, as throughout the Bordeaux region, including 1961, 1982, 1986 or 1989... This important field uniformity rare is located on 80 hectares of contiguous ridges of deep bass.
